Windows Movie Maker
I’ve been playing around with Windows Movie Maker today. It’s pretty crap, but quite easy to use just for knocking some videos together and sticking a soundtrack on there.

It does quite good fading between clips too, but that’s about it. Also, it’s really badly unstable. I’ve found myself saving my project about once a minute because once you get more than a few clips in there it starts suffering and will lock up at disgustingly regular intervals. Only ctrl+alt+del can come to the rescue then!
And that concludes my indepth review of Windows Movie Maker - easy, handy, but basically shit.
